The activity of the Authority in the subjects of economic mobilization
For selected subjects of economic mobilization, the Authority assesses the process of preserving production capabilities based on the request of the Administration of State Material Reserves. The Authority also carries out state quality assurance for selected mobilization supplies of products for securing the activities of the armed forces in a state of threat to the state and a state of war. In the case of suppliers with whom a mobilization delivery contract was concluded, to which GQA is applied, the Authority checks the preparation and effectiveness of economic measures for crisis situations as part of professional quality supervision. In these cases, the scope of GQA is defined for periods of peace and periods of crisis.
During the period of peace, within the framework of the GQA, the Authority checks particularly:
- production readiness of the supplier (security of raw materials and sub-supplies, measuring devices, tools, preparations and human resources),
- preservation of production capabilities, especially preservation of special technological equipment that is not used for other production,
- quality management system (by conducting quality system audits).
Activity of the Authority in NATO bodies
Within NATO, the issue of state quality assurance is dealt with in Committee AC/327, Life Cycle Management, specifically in its working group. This deals with the issue of creating new documents and updating those issued by AQAP (Allied Quality Assurance Publication, a publication related to state quality assurance).
Activity of the Authority in non-ministerial bodies
The leading employees of the Authority are members of several non-ministerial bodies that deal with quality issues. They contribute significantly to the work of:
- Quality Council of the Czech Republic
- Czech Institute for Accreditation
- Accreditation Councils
- Technical Committee for Accreditation of Certification Bodies
- Technical Committee for Accreditation of Testing Laboratories
