International cooperation

By joining NATO, the Czech Republic acceded to a number of standardization agreements (STANAG). One of these standardization agreements is STANAG 4107 “Mutual Acceptance of Government Quality Assurance and Usage of the Allied Quality Assurance Publications”. By acceding to this standardization agreement, the Czech Republic and thus the Authority have obligations towards foreign partner authorities, but also the right to use their services for the benefit of Czech customers who apply for GQA.

Government Quality Assurance abroad can be ensured:

a) in NATO member states that have acceded to STANAG 4107 and thereby committed to perform GQA for the benefit of customers from other NATO member states free of charge;

b) in countries that are not members of NATO, but with which a bilateral agreement has been concluded on the mutual implementation and recognition of GQA (implementation of GQA free of charge or for financial compensation).
